ye your right but female satyres are called for Satyresses and in modern times are they called for faun.. there is the saga of Hanno who travled beond Hercues pillars and came to an island were there were a civilazion of satyrs and Pan were they leader.

tho there were other races like Fauns(tho this looks more like a faun) and Sylvans(tree people with bark skin aka ents in Anglo-Saxon sagas)
